What Is Stress And Its Problems?


Stress is what we do when we are faced with a problem or danger. This usually happens when we feel we have no control. When we insist, it may look like this: Anyone, for example, when you have a lot of work that is difficult to manage.

For example, if your family is going through a difficult time, such as a death or a financial crisis, join a group.
A part of your country, for example, if you belong to a religious group that is discriminated against.
Members, for example, in events such as natural disasters or the coronavirus
If you stress as part of a large group, everyone may experience it differently. This can happen even if the cause of your anxiety is the same.

Types Of  Stress

Not all stress is harmful or negative. Some types of anxiety  include:

Chronic Stress:

Chronic stress that is unavoidable and unavoidable, such as a bad marriage or a boring job. Chronic stress can also be a result of traumatic experiences and childhood trauma.

Major episodic stress:

Major episodic anxiety is severe stress that causes ongoing distress and becomes a pattern of life.

Stress is fun and exciting. This is known as a positive form of stress motivation. It is about adrenaline, like skiing or running to meet a deadline.

What Causes Stress?

Children are not always as stressed as adults. Although work-related anxiety is common in adults, many children become anxious when they are unable to cope with scary, difficult, or situations. These include:

  • Negative thoughts or feelings about yourself
  • Your body goes through changes when puberty begins.
  • Compulsory school, as well as adult exams and lots of homework.
  • Problems with school friends and social relationships
  • Big changes like moving house, changing schools, or living away from your parents
  • Chronic illness, family financial problems or the death of a loved one
  • A safe place in your home or neighborhood.

Is anxiety a mental health problem?

Anxiety is not considered a mental health problem. But it is related to mental health in several ways: anxiety can cause mental health problems. It can also make existing problems worse.

For example, stress can lead to mental health problems such as anxiety or depression. Or periods of extreme stress can lead to post-traumatic anxiety  disorder (PTSD).
Mental health problems can cause stress. Dealing with the daily symptoms of mental health problems can be stressful. You may worry about managing medications, health appointments, or other treatments. You may use recreational drugs or alcohol to cope with stress and mental health issues may result from it.


Who suffers from depression?

Maybe we can all relate to some of the feelings mentioned above. Stress appears to have a greater impact on certain people than on others. For some, getting out the door on time every morning can be extremely stressful, while for others the effects of anxiety  may be less.

For example:

People with high debt or financial insecurity are more likely to have financial problems
Minorities or people from the LGBTQIA+ community are more likely to experience stress due to racism or discrimination
People with disabilities or who have long-term health conditions may feel concerned about their health or the stigma associated with it.

Symptoms of stress

Even if you don’t know it, stress can affect many aspects of your health and well-being. Here are a few indications and manifestations of each kind of burden.

1. Dilated students. As part of the fight or flight response, our pupils dilate to allow more light into our eyes and make it easier to see our surroundings.

2. Increased heart rate. It’s another aspect of fight or flight that can be alarming if you feel your heart beating.

3. Race. When we feel stressed, our body temperature rises and we sweat a lot.

4. Breathe quickly and intensely. These signs and symptoms belong to the fight-or-flight reaction. This allows more oxygen into the body to better respond to anxiety.

5. Anxiety. It is a feeling of anxiety and fear resulting from exposure to stress.

6. Emotional ups and downs. It means sadness and mood.

7. It is not good to sleep. Our sleep patterns are often affected by a combination of burden hormones and fight-or-flight responses.

About stress

Anxiety is a process, not a diagnosis. We feel frustrated when there is a mismatch between the demands placed on us and the resources we have to meet those demands. The level and anxiety  that a person will experience depends largely on his attitude towards the situation. A situation that may be very stressful for one person may be stressful in the life of another.
