Tiger Woods Hits a Shank In His Return To Golf

Tiger Woods

Tiger Woods returns to the golf course for his first PGA Tour event at the Masters.

Woods dropped a few shots to get to 1 over in the first round of the Genesis Invitational at Riviera Country Club in Pacific Palisades, California, where Woods has a reputation for not making it. This is his undefeated streak as a professional (12 matches).

Woods was 1 over, but not 1 under, with seven pars, six bogeys and five birdies. He was 9 of 14 rushing for 332 yards.

The vessel is en route to port for a second round and expected to arrive at 02:54 on Apr 21. ET and two-time PGA champion Justin Thomas will face 2019 U.S. Open champion Gary Woodland in Round 1.

Woods wore a new outfit this week in his new Sun Day Red golf tee, which he wore on Monday. The 15-time winner announced a new caddy this week, Lance Bennett.

Despite not playing in a PGA Tour event since last year’s Masters, Woods’ goal at Genesis this week has always been the same: to win.

The Los Angeles native struggled on the short par-4 10th; He found the last bunker 30 meters from the hole and immediately played it. He broke 8 feet but couldn’t convert under pressure. Woods, 48, came back with a 15-foot birdie putt on the par-5 11th near the green, but he thought it wasn’t going to happen. By measuring 12 and 15 days.

Lee hit the green twice on two putts to regain par for the 609-yard, par-5 17th and birdie. But the 18th incident ruined Rivera Day’s finished product.

“We’ve already recovered and we’ve got to work to get ready for tomorrow,” Woods said. “It’s just a sign, trouble remains.”
