The veteran center for the Eagles has thought about retiring after each of the last few seasons. It’s possible that he will genuinely leave the NFL at this point. Although there hasn’t been an official statement, rumors that Jason Kelce intended to retire first appeared shortly after the Eagles’ postseason season concluded. Despite turning thirty-six in 2023, Jason Kelce continued to play at a very high level and was selected as a Pro Bowler and an All-Pro. He’s very nearly the best center in the NFL, if he’s not still the best. Throughout his 13-year NFL tenure, Jason Kelce has been a Pro Bowl player seven times and a first-team All-Pro six times. In each of his previous eight seasons, he has been selected to either the Pro Bowl or the All-Pro team. His professional life is worthy of the Medal of Honor.

The Eagles may have selected Nebraska’s Cam Jurgens in the second round of the previous draft to replace him. Jurgens was chosen by the Eagles with the 51st overall pick in 2022.
