What do you want to know
- The Lakers will play four full quarters on Tuesday, but they have to sort everything out first. They face the Detroit Pistons at 10:30 p.m. ET at Crypto.com Arena after a few days of rest. The Pistons lost their last game and will look to change that with a Lakers win.
- Last Friday, Los Angeles didn’t have much trouble at home against the Pelicans, who won 139-122.
- Many players put in strong performances to lead the Lakers to victory, but perhaps none more so than LeBron James, who posted a double-double with 21 points and 14 assists. D’Angelo Russell made another important contribution with 30 points and 5 assists.
- Meanwhile, the Pistons got off to a rocky start last season and unfortunately the road hasn’t gotten any easier for them. Against Los Angeles, they finished 112-106. The loss became even more painful when the Pistons led 62-49 with 9:39 left in the third quarter.
- Los Angeles has performed well, winning four of its last five games and improving its season record to 28-26. For Detroit, the losing record fell to 8-44.
- The Lakers defeated the Pistons 133-107 in their last game in November 2023. Will the Lakers pull out another win or will the Pistons topple them? We will have the answer soon.
Odds
- According to the latest NBA odds, Los Angeles is the 11-point favorite against Detroit.
