BAFTA Awards 2024 See All the Winners?

BAFTA Awards 2024

The BAFTA Awards 2024 – the independent arts arm of the British Academy of Film and Television Arts – celebrated. The best films of the past year at its 77th annual awards on Sunday. An awards show watched by many Americans, most of the nominations come from its American counterpart. The Oscars: Barbie, for example, has only five nominations, and Lily Gladstone is the Oscar-nominated actress and Leader.

Best competition for British prices. While past winners like Oppenheimer have fared well at this year’s awards, some wins (and losses) could make a difference in their careers when Oscar voting begins.

An actor did not host this year’s BAFTAs, unlike many US awards ceremonies in recent years. But actor David Tennant took to the stage alongside Sophie Ellis-Bexter to sing 2002’s biggest European hit “Murder on the Dancefloor”, a song that had a second life as a reader in Saltburn. Ted Lasso star Hannah Waddington took to the microphone to sing “Time After Time” during the show.

How to Watch the 2024 BAFTA Film Awards Online?

The NUM0 BAFTA Film Awards will be broadcast on BBC One starting from 7pm on Sunday night. They will also be streamed on iPlayer and Britbox.  Local time Britabox recently reached an agreement with BAFTA to co-host the BAFTA Film Awards until 2025. David Tennant is the event organizer this year, and it will be held in London’s Southbank Center’s Royal Festival Hall.

“Oppenheimer” leads with 13 nominations, followed by “Weak Things” with 11. “Oppenheimer,” directed by Christopher Nolan and starring Cillian Murphy, Emily Blunt and Robert Downey Jr., is nominated for best picture. And in the life of the city. “Weak Things” won best picture with Emma Stone.

One of the biggest problems is that “Barbie” was not nominated for Best Picture or Best Director. The long-serving defender has only conceded 5 goals after 15 games – apart from Saltburn’s Emerald Fennell, he has failed to get past the team. Also, Golden Globe winner Lily Gladstone didn’t win Best Actress and Martin Scorsese didn’t win Best Director for The Poison Killers. The five-time Oscar winner “American novel” has now received an award for its film adaptation.

Eight nominations for “Killers of Flower Moon” and “Where do you care” “Anatomy of a Fall,” “The Holdover” and “Maestro” each received seven nominations, followed by “We’re All Strangers” with six. The event will see 23-year-old Sophie Ellis-Bexter perform ‘Murder on the Dancefloor’ at the unforgettable ‘Saltburn’ finale.
